General meetings
a. The Annual General Body Meeting of the Society shall be held on or before 30th September each year as provided under Section 75(1) of the Act. (as there is no provision for extension of time to hold AGBM). b. In case of default in calling the Annual General Body Meeting as stipulated in bye-law 93(a) above, shall attract disqualification and action as provided under section 75(5) of the Act.
This 2014 Model Bye-law states the annual meeting deadline and points to the Act for consequences. Later law or amendments may affect the current position and must be checked separately.
